Yesterday the sun was shining, and so we decided to pack up the car and head for the beach. We are very lucky to live where we do – we can be at the beach in about half an hour.
The kids love the beach, and were straight in the sea, in their clothes:
Once they had got soaked, they then stripped off their wet clothes….and went back in the sea!
While they played in the sea with daddy, I sat on the sand with Max – his first ever beach trip, and I think he enjoyed it!
After a picnic lunch it was time for a spot of cricket and some sandcastle building:
All in all, a perfect family day out. The kids came home happy and tired (as did the adults), and spent the evening drawing pictures of their day at the beach.

You can’t beat the beach for a perfect family day out, there is always lots of things to do and see. Max is such a sweetie and I hope he enjoyed his first ever trip to the beach, thanks for sharing your outdoor fun with Country Kids.
