Munchkin lunch box – review

We were recently sent a  Click Lock Bento Mealtime Set to review, and with it being Back to School for us, it was the perfect time to give it a whirl.

The Munchkin box is divided into 2 sections – a large one and a small one. The smaller section has 2 removeable pots – one marked ‘Fruit’ and the other marked ‘Veggies’. There is also a fork and spoon clipped into the inside of the lid, making this box perfect for all sorts of foods.

On her first day back at school, Gemma chose a selection of dried fruit and some carrot sticks for her fruit and veggie boxes. They are the perfect size for a child – just enough room for the recommened handful sized portion.
As you can see, the box is also a great size for school, as it fits neatly inside a standard sized lunch bag, with room enough for a drink and any other snacks too.

If you remove the fruit and veggie boxes, the smaller section makes an ideal place for a Gemma-sized portion of pasta salad, and because the spoon and fork are always stored neatly in the lid, there is still plenty of room for other lunchtime essentials.
Gemma loves this box, and asks for it every day. I love it too – I love how there are different sections which make it fun for children to have a variety of fruits and veggies, I love how the spoon and fork are included, I love how it fits neatly inside her lunchboz, and I love that it’s airtight and so keeps everything fresh.

The little removable boxes look great on the lunch box – my daughter would definitely have me putting teeth-rotting sweets in these – bon bons or what-not! Lunch box looks great x

These look great! I like the removable inner compartments–they make it really flexible.
