Cute Cute headband review

Gemma is a real girly girl when it comes to her hair, and loves to have it tied up in ponytails, plaited into pigtails and adorned with pretty hair clips, headbands and accessories. So to say she was excited to receive a headband from Cute Cute boutique might be something of an understatement..

We weren’t told which headband from the lovely range we would be receiving, so it was a little bit like Christmas when it arrived, all wrapped up prettily in tissue paper. It was unwrapped to reveal a delicate lace stretchy headband, adorned with a pretty pink, sparkly flower. Girly, but not too girly.

The headband part is super stretchy – I could easily wear this myself if I so wished. In fact it is so stretchy I worried that it would be too big for Gemma, and slip off her head. But some sort of special headband magic seems to make it grip to the hair once you slide it into place. It doesn’t move, and in the words of Gemma ‘It doesn’t annoy me’. All good then.
It’s a definite hit with Gemma – she has not really taken it off since it arrived. Only when I make her head off to bed or have a bath. It has been worn to school, to friends’ houses and to the shops. Not once has it slipped, fallen off or irritated Gemma.
I love that it’s that little bit different to anything else she has, and I love that the colours work with all sorts of different outfits, from jeans and tshirts to party dresses. It has a bit of a vintage feel to it, probably from the lace, and I really like that. Like I said before – girly, but not too girly. They are a tad pricier than my average headband spend – I think I would be inclined to try and keep for special occasions rather than daily wear, but if they last as long as I think they will, going by the quality, I think you could justify the expense. Just this once 😉
* We were sent this headband for the purpose of this review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. *

These are so sweet and what a gorgeous daughter you have. Mine is 11, and all into being grown up at the moment. It does go by so fast. It seems like just yesterday I was fashioning her first baby hair into pigtails. Now to get my SIL on the case and bearing us some neices 😉
    Love Vicky

Love hairbands on little girls (or on me as I wear mine daily to avoid doing my hair).
    Very pretty
