Close Parent Pop-in nappy review

Regular readers of my blog will know of my love for all things fluffy – there is something about a little bottom clad in a cloth nappy that makes me feel all squishy. So when Close Parent got in touch to offer me one of their new design nappies I jumped at the chance, and after a lot of debating chose the Hippo design.

It’s just gorgeous to look at – a nice bright blue with orange edging. Max has been giving it a really good trial run, and I have been attempting to take photos of a little one who doesn’t stay still for more than a few seconds!

I can sit in it….

I can lie down in it…
I can stand up in it…
and I can crawl in it…
As you can see, it does not inhibit movement in any way, but more importantly it fits really well. There have been no leaks and no rubbing.
There are a huge amount of clever features in this nappy design. A hidden washing tab, a really snug, flexible elastic, and the pop in boosters all make it so easy to use, both on the go or at home. You simply add a flushable liner and choose how many pop in layers you need – for tiny babies you need less absorbency so just unpop one of the boosters. For bigger babies, pop it back in. Simple. This also makes it super fast drying, as you can open the layers right out.
I love the Pop-in nappies. They are as simple to use as a *whispers* disposable nappy but so much more economical, softer for small bums and WAY cuter. Look at Max’s little bum in the Hippo nappy….awww.

We were sent this nappy free of charge for review purposes, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
