Greased Lightning Showroom Shine review

Cleaning the car is not my idea of fun, and is one of those jobs that gets pushed further and further down the list until it is so bad that my husband just gets it done. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I actually cleaned the car myself.

When we were sent a starter pack of Greased Lightning Showroom Shine  I immediately handed it over to Kevin, and told him I would be the official photographer for this review. The starter pack contains a 1 litre bottle of Showroom Shine plus 2 microfibre cloths, so you are ready to go straight away.

The day we had earmarked for car cleaning was rainy, but Kevin tells me this can be a good time to clean a car (I know not why…) so we cracked on anyway. When I say cracked on, I mean he did, and I stood in the doorway taking photos.
Hassle free and very simple to use, you simply spray on, use one of the cloths to wipe the dirt away, then use the other cloth to buff for a shiny finish.

There was very little effort involved, the Showroom Shine simply lifted the dirt away, and left it clean, shiny and smooth – no scratching as nothing abrasive is used. You really can see the difference. There are no smears left on the car – if there are any after the spray, the buffing smooths them away – and we are left with a car that is possibly the cleanest it has ever been with no need for endless buckets of soapy water. Having cleaned a whole estate car, we have barely made a dent in the liquid in the bottle, so I am pretty sure it will last a long time too!
