Pink Lining Mama et Bebe changing bag review

Back at the end of last year, I reviewed the rather lovely Not so Plain Jane bag from the Pink Lining range. I fell head over heels for this bag, and it is still used on a daily basis now. It’s my go-to bag every time we venture out of the house, and it really does hold everything you need for a day with baby.
Last month, I was sent a Pink Lining bag from the brand new range – the Mama et Bebe Wise Owl changing bag. Combining fashion with functionality, this is the bag for all style conscious parents out there, who want to look on trend but still have room for all the daily essentials.

The bag is rather lovely, and the colours are lovely. I am a big fan of grey at the best of times, and so this bag works for me on many levels – the grey canvas pockets (you can never have too many pockets), the soft grey owl print and the splashed of colour from the prams that just bring it alive.
It comes with a changing mat, wet bag and pocket mirror included – all really useful items to have, and one less thing to have to worry about packing – you will know they are always there, ready to use.

Using the bag on a pushchair, or carrying it yourself, couldn’t be easier, as there are 2 handle options. You can use the clever poppers to attach the bag to the handle of your pushchair as shown below:

This keeps it up out of the way of wheels and feet, and keeps everything to hand. This is how I tend yo use it most of the time.

Alternatively, you can use the standard shoulder strap to slip it over the handle. This strap is easily adjustable, and works really well if you want to carry the bag yourself too – I use it messenger style and carry it across my body – meaning my hands are free for carrying Max too!

Overall, I really rate this bag. Yes, it looks gorgeous, but it works as a bag for a busy family too. There are endless pockets to keep everything organised, a key hook so you never have to dig around in the bottom of your bag trying to find your keys in the rain (it can’t just be me who has done this?) and the 2 handle options for easy carrying. The exterior of the bag is wipe clean material, so it will always stay looking crisp and smart, and the 2 insulated pockets are great for drinks, snacks and even Mummy’s bottle of Lucozade (some days only Lucozade will do…)

It’s just lovely. Pretty, practical and super high quality which will last for as long as you need it to.

I have a friend who is expecting at the moment, and it is her baby shower soon. I got to thinking that the Pink Lining changing bags would make amazing baby shower gifts. There is such a huge range of styles and designs that there is bound to be something to suit every taste. There is the option to go for a smaller Mum on the Run bag or wallet if budget is tight, or maybe a couple of friends could club together to buy a full sized changing bag – I would have absolutely adored getting one of these when I was expecting. I think I know what my friend will be getting for her baby shower….!

What do you think of the Pink Lining range? Do you have a favourite design?

I was sent this bag free of charge for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

COR! This looks amazing. Although I am fairly useless with baby bags and we have now taken to giving the girls backpacks then they can assume some of the responsibility for forgetting things…just kidding, this bag looks great, lovely review x

Ha – I like the idea of sharing the responsibility for lost things – we always lose something on a day out lol.

Love the handle poppers, very clever! I admit i’ve never been a fan of the pink lining bags that had cupcakes or ‘yummy mummy’ on but this is gorgeous, I love Owls and our daughter is called Athena, so she has an owl theme going on!

I wish I’d known about Pink Lining bags when I was expecting. They’re so gorgeous and I especially love this one as it’s not too pink, which some can seem.
