I really struggle to buy clothes for Kevin – he likes clothes that are comfortable but still look good enough to wear out and about, and that can be really difficult to find. When 90:10 Man got in touch to see if Kevin would like to review one of their hoodies, I headed over to their website to find out a little bit more about the company.
Tha name came from a conversation with a friend about being a grown up now – or at least, 90% grown up…and 10% not. 90:10 Man was born. Aiming for stylishly designed, high quality clothing made in an environmentally friendly way with fun and innovative branding – it certainly sounded like something Kevin would like!
We were sent the navy signature hoodie, with the discreet 90:10 logo in the top corner. The material is super soft (100% organic cotton) – that hits you as soon as you open it. The inside of the hoodies is lined in an almost fleecy fabric, which makes it really comfortable to wear, and the kangaroo pocket, hood and draw string neckline give it a sporty yet smart feel.
In regards to fit, although it is described as a medium fitting, I would say it is more of a close fitting style – if you prefer a looser hoodie, then I would advise ordering a size up.
We loved the navy colour – it goes with pretty much anything – but there are heaps more colours and designs on the website, along with sweaters and tshirts if you fancy something a little bit different.
Kevin has been using this hoodie for a couple of weeks now, and it has definitely become a wardrobe favourite. It’s comfortable to wear, washes well without losing colour or shape, and is versatile enough to wear with jeans, jogging bottoms or chinos. It works as a relaxing at home top, or a shopping in town top – no need to change if you are popping out. At £42.00, it is slightly more than I would usually spend on a hoodie, but I think it is worth it if it gets a lot of wear. I will definitely be looking at the 90:10 website again when I need a gift for Kevin’s birthday later in the year!
