Bump watch: 15 weeks

bump watch, 15 weeks

I can’t believe I am 15 weeks pregnant already. This pregnancy seems to be flying by – it’s already been 4 weeks since my scan.

This week has seen my bump really pop out – I had a bump before, and have done for a while now, but it was not really visible under winter clothing. This week I can barely do my coat up, and several people have stopped me at the school gates and asked if I am expecting again, so it must be a bit more obvious now!

I have started to wear some maternity clothes, and they are a lot more comfortable – no tight waistbands digging in!

There has been a lot of speculation from friends and family as to whether this is a girl or a boy. A few people have said my bump is a different shape to Max, and so think I am expecting a girl. I have my own gut feeling, and have always been right with the other 3, but we shall see. We are not planning to find out the sex, so it will be a surprise come D-day!

I haven’t been feeling too bad this week. The sickness seems to have eased, although I am still really tired. I have had the odd bout of heartburn which has made sleeping a bit uncomfortable at times, and I have been suffering with headaches – I know these are very common in pregnancy but they are quite hard to shift, and obviously I can’t take anything other than paracetamol!

I am looking forward to next week – I have my 16 week midwife appointment on Monday, and all being well I will get a chance to hear the baby’s heartbeat.

Wow, so exciting! Pregnancy is so intriguing, isn’t it! It’s so funny how people are always trying to guess the gender and the tales about the link between the shape of the bump and the gender of the child. I hope you have a better week; all the very best as you journey on. #MaternityMatters

I’m putting my bets on a boy. I loved the stage where my bump became obvious! Thanks for linking up to #bloggerbumps
