Review: Personalised backpack from Stuck on You & win vouchers to spend on the website

Stuck On You backpack

Max has been attending nursery for a year now, and over that time we have lost a few items – things that I have forgotten to name (bad mummy) or just things that have vanished, never to be seen again. They have probably been popped into a bin by a child ‘helping’ to tidy up, or accidentally mixed up with someone else’s bits and bobs.

This is one of the reasons I am a fan of personalisation for kids at nursery and school. It means there is much less chance of a mix up, and a much higher chance your little one comes home with the right property every night. On top of that, my kids love this sort of thing, which means they actually want to look after their bags and lunch boxes and bring them home at the end of a busy day.

Max has recently been trying out the junior backpack from Stuck on You. Made from durable poly-canvas it can stand up to the nursery environment and still come home looking like new. The straps are adjustable and I can get a perfect fit on Max, who is 2, as well as Jacob who is 7, and there is a hook for hanging the bag on a peg at nursery too. It has an insulated snack compartment on the base which is perfect for days out, and there is an elasticated pocket on the side to keep a drink. Max loves being able to carry his own things, I think it makes him feel grown up like his big brother and sister 😉

As for the personalisation – I really love it. You can choose the name you want, the picture and the font style and preview it on the website before you order, so you will know exactly what you are getting. It’s not too ‘in your face’ yet it is fun and something your child will be proud of. Max loves taking his bag into nursery and showing his key worker the helicopter and sounding out his name.

I would choose a personalised water bottle for my son for when he goes back to school in September – it might last more than a term if it has his name printed on!!!!
