We love swimming, and all the kids have been in the water from a young age. We don’t tend to use a lot of water aids, but they do all love dive sticks and water toys. Especially those ones that you can fill with water and squirt each other with 😉
I have teamed up with Zoggs to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a kids swimming bundle, perfect for those early days in the water. The bundle contains:
- Hank and Nemo soakers
- Zoggy dive stick
- A choice of Zoggy or Miss Zoggy armbands

When my son swam a mile. Now it’s my grandson that I watch.
watching my children grow confident with their swimming skills!
My favourite swimming memory is when I learned to swim because I used to be terrified of the water!
The first time I was able to swim a full length of the pool. I was one of the lasts to get the certificate and watched with envy as others were called up. When I finally got it I was over the moon.
My favourite memories are with my Dad when I was a kid and him teaching me how to swim! We had a lot of fun! He was the best teacher 🙂
The first time my daughter swam a length on her own
Teaching my dad to swim!
My dad used to take me swimming, when I was young, every Saturday morning. I never had a swimming lesson and love to swim even now – so he must of taught me well enough!
Swi ming at a hotel with my grandad everytime we visited them
Favourite memory is when we used to go on holiday as children and my dad would come into the swimming pool and throw us over his shoulders. We would scream and laugh. He worked hard when we were at home and we didn’t really have time to do fun things together so holidays were great.
When my boys learnt to swim….proud mummy moments!
My best and happiest memory is going to the local swimming pool with my best friend and teaching each other to swim as we couldn’t afford swimming lessons.
My dad teaching me to swim on holiday in the pool xx
My favourite memories are with my Dad playing cricket on the beach.
Me learning at 30 best thing I ever did
Swimming on holiday 🙂
My local pool had a water slide that just dumped you into the deep end and as I wasn’t a particularly good swimmer I could never go on it. My favourite memory is going to a wet and wild swimming park a bit further from home and being able to go on the slides because they ended in little pools instead of deep water.
getting distance badges as a child was the best feeling!
My favourite swimming memory is when I learned to swim under water – I pretended I was a mermaid!
winning in the school swimming gala (i was rubbish at land sports!)
