Review | Orla Kiely Grobag

Orla Kiely Grobag

We are huge Grobag fans. We have used them for all 4 children over the last 11 years, and they have aided safe and secure sleep over that time. I just wouldn’t use anything else now. They stop blankets being kicked off, they maintain body temperature and they have become part of the bedtime routine – signalling sleep time for Eliza.

Grobag’s latest collaboration has been really popular, combining the Grobag ethos and practicality with the iconic Orla Kiely design. We have been trying out a Daisy Spot Flower Grobag over the last few weeks, and have, as always, been impressed with the quality and ease of use.

The Orla Kiely Daisy Spot Flower Grobag in 6-18 months features shoulder poppers and a zip that runs from the base of the bag to the armpit. Here, there is a popper cover, both for comfort and to prevent little fingers from unzipping! Having the zip means that night time nappy changes are quick and easy. Made from 100% natural cotton fabrics, this sleeping bag is soft and flexible, and washes well, keeping its shape and colour.

We have the 2.5 tog Grobag, and it has been ideal for this time of year, keeping Eliza warm and snug on the cooler nights. The main section of the sleeping bag is generously sized, leaving plenty of room for Eliza to kick her legs, roll over and move about the cot.

The design is bright and colourful, appealing for toddlers and parents alike. It is easy to get Eliza in and out, as the sleeping bag opens out flat, so even on her wriggliest days I can manage to get her in and ready for bed in a matter of seconds. She sleeps well, remaining warm and comfortable for 12 hours at a time.

We love the bright and funky new Orla Kiely pattenrs, combined with the trusted and safe Grobag, and we will definitely be buying more when the new designs are released soon!
