Both really – I work from home, so I have the best of both worlds. My days are spent juggling all the daily routines of caring for Max, school runs and homework with Gemma and Jacob, and working when I can fit it in. I work as social media support and article writer for an online nursery company.
No, not at all. I know just how lucky I am to be able to stay at home with the children and work.
3. Do you co-sleep?
No – we never have. It just isn’t for us. The children have always started out in a moses basket in our room, before moving into a cot in their own rooms a few months later.
4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?
Grobags, without a doubt. They have taken away all the stress of worrying about blankets being kicked off, or covering little faces. They keep Max at the correct temperature and we even have travel ones that make it easy top use in the car seat or pram when we are out and about.
5. How many kids do you plan on having?
3 is more than enough for us. We always said we were stopping at 2 lol.
6. Date night? How many nights per month?
Ermm….sorry, what? Date nights don’t really happen much with 3 children, but we do always make an effort to go out for a meal or to the cinema for our wedding anniversary. Sometimes a takeaway and a bottle of wine on the sofa after the children are in bed works just as well as a night out.
7. Your childs favourite show?
Gemma would watch Pinocchio over and over again. Jacob loves Pokemon and Transformers, and Max isn’t really big enough to mind, although he does enjoy In the Night Garden every now and then.
8. Name one thing you bought before you had your baby and never ended up using?
The baby bath. We never used it once. All 3of the children were bathed in the sink to start with, and then just went straight into the big bath.
9. Your child’s favourite food?
For Gemma – strawberries. Jacob would eat baked beans until the cows came home and would happily have them with every meal if he could. Max eats everything, but I think his favourite at the moment would be bananas!
10. How many cars does your family have?
Just one at the moment. Kevin works about a 15 minute drive away so he has it during the week and I walk everywhere. I sold my car when I went on maternity leave as it just seemed silly, and expensive, to run 2 cars when I don’t really need one!
11. Weight gain before pregnancy, during and after and now?
No idea, I tried not to think about it. I know I put on a lot during all my pregnancies – with big babies and lots of fluid it was inevitable! I have always been lucky enough to lose most of it afterwards each time – a combination of breastfeeding and running around after 3 monkeys I imagine!
12. Dream holiday with your kids?
Disneyworld Florida. We took Gemma and Jacob to Disneyland Paris a couple of years ago, and we all loved it, and I hear the Florida one is even better – so would love to take all 3 of them when they are older. Best get saving then…
13. Dream holiday without your kids?
Oooh, there’s a question. I would love to go to the Dominican Republic – we were going to go for our honeymoon, but Gemma was only 8 months old and I didn’t want to leave her and go so far away at the time, so we stayed closer to home in the end. So I would love for me and Kevin to be able to go and have a ‘second honewymoon’ there.
14. How has your life changed since your baby has been born?
It’s totally changed in the last 8 years since Gemma arrived. I didn’t realise quite what a difference having childen would make if I am honest. It’s definitely a lot more stressful some days, and a hell of a lot busier that”s for sure – but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It has made me a better person. I am more caring, more patient and more confident.
15. Finish the sentence: ‘It makes my heart melt to see … ‘
My 3 children playing together.
16. Where do you shop for your kids?
For clothes I love Next, The Essential One, Frugi and Mothercare. All good quality, washes well and looks great.
17. Favourite makeup and skincare products?
Make up? What’s that? When I get the chance to wear any, I like Soap and Glory. I love their skincare range too, as well as Boots Natural.
18. Huggies or Pampers?
Neither. Cloth nappies all the way.
19. Have you always wanted kids?
Yes. I always knew I wanted to be a mummy, and I am so privileged to be have these three gorgeous little people.
20. Best part about being a mum?
Just having the chance to watch them grow and learn, and discover the world around them.

We don’t know what date night is either – being out numbered by the kids is difficult! xxx
Isn’t it just? Make the most of it when you do get some time to yourselves – we are very good at just collapsing in front of the TV with a packet of crisps lol
Love this!!! Thanks for the tag xx
