Remembrance Sunday

Today is Remembrance Sunday – a time for us all to just take a moment to remember those who have fallen for us in the line of duty.
Just what they have done.
What they have sacrificed for us.

Today we wrapped up warm, and we stood on the edge of the street to watch the parade.
The police
The cadets
The scouts, cubs, brownies and guides. (Gemma should have been parading with the Brownies today but was sadly too poorly to take part)

We wore our poppies with pride.

I shall teach my children about these brave men and women.

We will remember them.

I managed to just turn the tv over in time to catch the silence. Amy wasn’t keen on observing but I sat in silent tears x

What a lovely post with great sentiments, we have a lot to be thankful for. Our boys took part in the parade today and it was very moving. Thanks for linking up and sharing with Country Kids.
