We took the kids to the seaside, bit of a fail as my youngest hated it. We also went to Peppa Pig World and Folly Farm which my 2.5 year old loved.

We all went to London for the first time and got my son his dual-citizenship (US and UK). Then we spent couple of nights in Skegness. A few weeks later we stayed at a lovely hotel on Lake Windermere. Then a few weeks after we all went to Alton Towers for the first time.

Rather than going away on holiday this year we had day trips to local places. Our son loved it, we went to legoland, Old Sarum Castle, the zoo, Stonehenge and Stourhead.

We took J to the seaside for the first time, stroked a starfish, saw sharks, went paddling, saw two Lancaster bombers land, took a ride in a tractor on a working farm, had lots of water fights and picnics and lots and lots of days out exploring the local area.
