Our dog is called Buddy. My boy named her after the do in Cats and Dogs. We pointed out that she is a girl, but he clearly believed in challenging gender stereotypes…..
Cassie, this was the name she had when we rescued her from being badly abused x
I have 2 canine companions……Oscar (a Vizsla) born on the night of the Oscars, and Jago (a cockerpoo), called after a old jeep type car we used to own.
Rafa is my granddog and he was named after the super tennis player Nadal. He can’t play tennis but he can catch a ball!
Our collie is called Stanley, my eldest named him after a cartoon character! He really suits his name!
Ours is called Max, my son picked the name
Super dog bed prize. My staffie Louis would love his soft squashy bedding in it.
Rolo. My daughter picked it.
Our dog is called Sally. On the way home from buying her, we asked our daughter what name she would like and that’s how we picked her name.
Trundle. My son is a Swansea City fan
Our boy is called Buddy, it just seemed to fit, he’s such a friendly little chappy so its perfect
Mine is a border terrier called Mister Sweep. We called him that after the character from the Sooty show as he used to make the very same little squeaky sound!
My little man is called Reggie, we decided to call him Reggie because we have a tortoise called Ronnie so now we have our own Ronnie and Reggie (not Kray) lol
Archie is my bordie collie the name was picked by my kids
My two pugs are called Reggie and Gertie – I think pugs suit old fashioned names
Trixie – no reason other than we liked it.
Our dog is called Minnie. She’s a labradoodle and when we went to choose her as a puppy, she was constantly looking for mischief so we called her that after Minnie the Minx. She is now enormous and whenever anybody learns her name they give us a funny look lol
we have two dogs lucky and shady and other family members choose from the fact they liked the names
Our Weimaraner’s name is Fudge. It was already his name when he came to us as a rescue dog 9 years ago.
