Whether it’s watching England play football on the big screen with your friends, piling on to the sofa with the whole family to watch your favourite movies, or collapsing at the end of the day to watch those TV shows you recorded months ago but still haven’t got round to watching, having a comfy sofa to relax on is essential to the home!
Our sofa could be described as well loved – it gets used for something for a good portion of every day. Max lies flat on it to watch Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig, before taking all the cushions off to make a tower or a castle. Eliza joins in with this, and uses the sofa as a support for standing up and taking those first wobbly steps. Gemma and Jacob use it for everything from a place to watch TV to a safe spot to avoid the boiling lake of lava they are imagining on the floor. Kevin watches football from the sofa, shouting at the referee and cheering on England in the Euros. I use it as a comfortable space to blog, to write and research my college essays and to read a book at the end of a long day.
However, my favourite ever #SofaMoment is a very special family one – the day we came home from hospital with a newborn baby Eliza, and introduced her to her sister and brothers. Nothing else will ever compare to that.

I think my sofa moment is at the end of the day when George will snuggle up with his blanket and teddy to fall asleep after telling me about some Radom things that have happened in his day and and getting to spend time with Imogen after he’s fallen asleep, it’s very much a family love Sofa and central to all the moments in our lives xx love laughter & tears xx

My favourite #SofaMoment has been after we got back from NYC last year – we had just got engaged and I remember being so happy snuggling up watching a film together. Simple but lovely!

Favourite #SofaMoment is Christmas eve all cosy on the Sofa with Roasted Chesnuts and Christmas TV! Been doing it since i was little and still a tradition now!
My Favourite #SofaMoment has to be when we moved into our first home together. It was stressful and tiring as we were starting from scratch and didn’t have much money – We got our Sofa very cheap from a local Facebook group and after a hectic few weeks once we had finally moved in and unpacked we sat on the Sofa, Ordered a Take Away and Just cuddled up and relaxed together full of excitement and relief! It was kind of perfect and the Sofa is still our favorite place to relax and catch up with loved ones.

Like many families, we lead a really hectic and full life. Our sofa has seen it all, the drama of my waters breaking whilst watching a film, quiet contemplation whilst reading books together or feeding my babies and lots of jumping about during happy moments.
But my favourite #sofamoment without a doubt is when we all come together at the end of a long day, pop on a movie or bust out a card game (trumps is the current favourite) and we’re together and relaxed.
