Share your #SofaMoment and win £100 Love2Shop vouchers!

Whether it’s watching England play football on the big screen with your friends, piling on to the sofa with the whole family to watch your favourite movies, or collapsing at the end of the day to watch those TV shows you recorded months ago but still haven’t got round to watching, having a comfy sofa to relax on is essential to the home!

Our sofa could be described as well loved – it gets used for something for a good portion of every day. Max lies flat on it to watch Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig, before taking all the cushions off to make a tower or a castle. Eliza joins in with this, and uses the sofa as a support for standing up and taking those first wobbly steps. Gemma and Jacob use it for everything from a place to watch TV to a safe spot to avoid the boiling lake of lava they are imagining on the floor. Kevin watches football from the sofa, shouting at the referee and cheering on England in the Euros. I use it as a comfortable space to blog, to write and research my college essays and to read a book at the end of a long day.

However, my favourite ever #SofaMoment is a very special family one – the day we came home from hospital with a newborn baby Eliza, and introduced her to her sister and brothers. Nothing else will ever compare to that.

I have a lovely photo of my favourite #sofamoment and it is my favourite pic of me, my sister and dad all sat together reading some old history and war poem books my dad had found. The photos of us all together are very rare and although this was taken over 30 years ago I still remember the occasion well.

My memorable #sofamoment goes back to when I was a child and I was hanging upside down on the sofa messing about and my parents won £10 on the first ever lottery draw. I was convinced that I’d brought them luck by hanging upside down and did it every week after that lol.

My favourite sofa moment is when my 5 year old nephew comes. I don’t see him very often and as soon as he comes through the door he dives on the sofa at the side of me and says without fail every time “Can we watch Cat in the Hat on your Tablet” He makes me smile.

I have many #sofamoments all based around sporting events with so many family members all supporting different sports whether it’s a Man Utd game, the euro, Wimbledon or the Olympics all family get together to watch on the two large sofas and majority of the floor for some good nature competitiveness and often a takeaway and no matter the result a good time is always had

My #SofaMoment is all about family. Most of our best conversations are had whilst snuggled up on the sofa, spending precious moments together. That’s no mean feat when everyone is always off doing their own thing.
