Today is the last day of half term for us, and it’s been a busy day! We started off the morning with another fun swimming session, which Gemma and Jacob loved. This was followed by a bus ride home – the kids see riding the bus as a real treat!
After lunch, there was a bit of trampolining in the garden. The dog thought it looked like a great game and jumped on too! Then we made chocolate chip fairy cakes. Both children had a lovely time, but I am still wiping the layer of flour off of everything in my kitchen!
Kids are now pretty tired, and have gone off to their bedroom to play cars on their car mat while the cakes are baking. Both of them still love to play cars, and they play so beautifully together (most of the time!).
