A Family day out with our Lin & Leo bag

As some of you may have seen, we were recently chosen as Lin & Leo reviewers. We were sent a GORGEOUS luxury baby bag, and given our first challenge this week – a family day out.
I tend to carry around just the normal amount of stuff everything but the kitchen sink, so I was interested to see if the Lin & Leo bag would hold everything I thought we might need on our family day out!
We live in a gorgeous part of the world, and so despite the rain, we packed up, met up with my sister and brother in law and their boy, and headed off for a local country house which has beautiful gardens. And what better setting for a stunning bag?

But of course, the day wasn’t just about admiring my bag – as much as I could stare at its beauty all day 😉
So – how did the bag handle a full family day out with 3 little monkeys? Superbly actually! Here’s what we packed:
I won’t list everything as it would make for a very long blog post – but there is all the usual baby paraphernalia for a 6 week old – nappies, wipes, bibs, muslins, hat, spare clothes plus Max’s medication (box of Gaviscon and a bottle of Zantac). Then there’s stuff for the older children – snack bags of fruit, bottle of juice, Jacob’s inhaler and mask. Finally my own few bits – purse, phone, keys, umbrella. And as you can see – more than enough space!
With all that ‘stuff’ you might wonder if the bag is very heavy? Surprisingly, it’s not. The organiser pockets seem to make everything fairly evenly distributed and so carrying it is no hassle, even when pushing a pram.
And I even feel confident enough to hang it on the handle of my beloved iCandy pram without worrying about damage, as there are no sharp buckles or rough handles that might scrape – everything is soft, supple leather.
As you can see, we had a great family day out. The bag held everything we needed, so we didn’t have to carry lots of extra bags around with us. And everyone had a fantastic day!
