Baby Watch weeks 1-4

Can hardly believe that Max is already 4 weeks old – the saying that children grow up too fast is most definitely true.
The last 4 weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions – panic at the early arrival, absolute ecstasy at the first cry, terrible sadness at seeing my baby wired up to tubes and machines, the joy of bringing him home, the proud feeling seeing all 3 of my monkeys together and the warm, fuzzy happiness I have been living in ever since we came home.
I can’t begin to describe how we all feel right now – there really are no words. But it is safe to say that Max has very much completed our family, and we all adore him.
He has settled in ever so well. Feeding has been going great, and he is sleeping for 5-6 hour stretches at night – can’t ask for more than that!
I plan to update my blog with a new ‘baby watch’ every month, to watch Max grow and develop and as something to look back on.
