Bravado nursing bra and tank top review

Finding comfortable, practical and non-frumpy nursing underwear can be something of a challenge. You want it to have easy and quick access for feeding, but still look nice. Just because we are mums, doesn’t mean we want to look dowdy!

Bravado have long been established as a maternity and nursing favourite, and has been my go-to brand for as long as I care to remember. They seem to have the balance right – does the job you need, whilst remaining feminine. I was sent the Sublime nursing bra and the Essential nursing tank to have a closer look at.
Now, please don’t worry – I shall not subject you to photos of my boobs, or my post-baby stretchmarks. But I shall share with you the prettiness of these items.
The pictures really can’t do this bra justice, but believe me when I tell you it is pretty – a fact verified by my husband. It is gorgeously soft black lace, with a purple underlayer which shines through. A bit of classic, understated glamour. It’s supportive, easily adjustable and the nursing straps can be clipped and unclipped with one hand.
The Essential nursing tank top is another great item. I have this one in Jester Red – lovely and bright and cheerful on these cold, rainy days.
It comes with a built in bra (and it’s a proper bra, not just a flimsy scrap of material) and it is mega comfy. Ideal for wearing out, or just lounging around at home, and the longer length gives you tummy coverage wherever you are. The nursing clips are not ‘in your face’ – I think most people would struggle to see that this is a nursing top at all.
Bravado are my brand of choice for all maternity and nursing wear. I just can’t recommend them highly enough.
* I was sent these items free of charge for review purposes, but all thoughts and opinions are my own. *
