MU review and a cheesy scrambled eggs recipe

We were recently sent a selection of MU products to try out. All of us except Jacob are big cheese fans, and I love to cook with cheese too, so we were really pleased to get such a great selection of products, including some new ones we had not come across before.

As well as a block of traditional MU cheese, we had some grated cheddar, some MU sticks and some MU Patz (thin slices of cheese).
Despite Gemma usually loving cheese sticks, she wasn’t keen on these or the Patz. I am not sure why, but she said they didn’t taste like ‘proper cheese’. Max loved them though!

The grated cheddar has been great for quick packed lunches – Gemma loves cheese and mayo wraps.

It was also really handy for one of our favourite quick and easy lunch recipes – cheesy scrambled eggs.
  • Whisk together 2 eggs with a splash of milk and some salt and pepper.
  • Add a generous handful of grated cheese and a sprinkle of chives.
  • Microwave for 1 minute, whisk again and pop back in the microwave for a further 30 secs – 1 min.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Never thought about making Jack cheesy scrambled eggs – he loves scrambled eggs and cheesy omelettes so I can’t believe I have never thought about it until reading this post! Oops x

I adore cheese and I have to admit to buying Mu quite often, best way to have scrambled eggs is most definitely with cheese as well 😉 x

Reviewing cheese?! I think that’s my ideal job! I tend to always buy Cathedral City or Pilgrims Choice only because that’s what I always buy. Will keep a look out for Mu in future.
