Aren’t they cute? I love the size – perfect for little hands to hold, but not too big that you need oodles of storage space. These little eggs clip together with the figure inside, and will fit easily into a toy box.
When you push the figures down on the little pads inside the egg, they make a chirping sound, which Max is fascinated by. You can take the figures out too – around the egg there are pictures of snacks for the animals to munch on.
Max enjoyed cracking open the eggs to see what was inside. Even his little 11 month old hands could manage to open the eggs easily.
His favourite is definitely the chick, he was fascinated by it and gave it a good look all over, threw it around a few times, rolled it across the floor and tasted it.
Since these eggs arrived, they have been the toy of choice for all 3 of my children – not just Max, but also Jacob (5) and Gemma (8). The chick and dinosaur have been involved in a Lego play world, a Happyland Farm and have sat on the table to watch dinner time. The kids are all happy, and I am happy because WOW toys require no batteries, aid so many levels of development and are just so simple – they really can be involved in all sorts of games, and as Max grows I am pretty sure the WOW eggs will remain a firm favourite.
If you like the look of the WOW eggs too, then why not enter my competition? 2 lucky winners will each receive a set of the Dinky Dino and Chirpy Chick eggs.
