It is amazing that the buildings have lasted so long, they are quite different from modern buildings. The history is interesting, yet more believable when learning facts during a visit.

I love the scale of it! My boys are fascinated by how big they are and the size of the stones they were built from.

They are huge places and nothing like everyday life. My children loved when we visited Kenilworth castle (they closed their eyes and tried to imagine what it would have been like) and I’m sure Warwick castle is far more impressive!

The whole family gets into character and imagines what it would be like to be Crusaders and fighting for their Country. We love the activities too and will take part in most things they offer.
