Bonzo – it was the name he had when he came from the rescue home, so the family kept it.

Shadow – she is a German Shepherd and we got her as a pup from a rescue centre – we chose the name because we liked it but it has proven to be an appropriate name

Our four-legged friend is called Jack. We tried dozens of names out when this stray first moved himself in, but he didn’t respond to any until ‘Jack’ – he is a right Jack-the-lad, independent (on his Jack Jones), a bit Jack & Dandy, and doesn’t give Jack **** about much else! We thought the name suited him 🙂

He is an older boy, rescued from death row at the pound. The dog warden chose to call him Oscar, but we chaned it to Ozzie. He looks a bit like an Australian sheep dog. He’s gorgeous.

Our old lady is called flip flop. Our little boy named her this after she kept stealing our daughters flip flops when she first came home with us as a puppy! She is 15 now!

We have two. Sanchez is 11 months and named after the arsenal footballer – my son named him! The other is called Ted. Called that because he looks like a teddy bear.

I have 3 dogs, my 15 year old Jack Russell is called Bramble. I wanted something different and originally had Blackberry in mind as it’s my favourite fruit but when I started calling her outside it was a bit of a mouthful so I went for Bramble instead. I have a 2 year old Dachshund X called Polly Pocket, she is a rescue and I didn’t want to confuse her by choosing another name. My youngest dog is a 1 year old JR and I named her Clara, after Clara in the Heidi TV series.

Our JRT puppy is called Aria, she was called the dog without a name for about 10 days before we decided on her name. We couldn’t decide on anything that we all liked and Aria is a character in a tv show we watch and we thought suited her.

Tommy – we called it from the beginning when he came from another resource. We choose this name because we love it.
