Whether it’s watching England play football on the big screen with your friends, piling on to the sofa with the whole family to watch your favourite movies, or collapsing at the end of the day to watch those TV shows you recorded months ago but still haven’t got round to watching, having a comfy sofa to relax on is essential to the home!
Our sofa could be described as well loved – it gets used for something for a good portion of every day. Max lies flat on it to watch Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig, before taking all the cushions off to make a tower or a castle. Eliza joins in with this, and uses the sofa as a support for standing up and taking those first wobbly steps. Gemma and Jacob use it for everything from a place to watch TV to a safe spot to avoid the boiling lake of lava they are imagining on the floor. Kevin watches football from the sofa, shouting at the referee and cheering on England in the Euros. I use it as a comfortable space to blog, to write and research my college essays and to read a book at the end of a long day.
However, my favourite ever #SofaMoment is a very special family one – the day we came home from hospital with a newborn baby Eliza, and introduced her to her sister and brothers. Nothing else will ever compare to that.

My favourite #SofaMoments is when I actually get to sit on it, when it’s not full of kids or dogs!

My favourite sofa moment is watching something i enjoy on the tele with my 2 cats and dog beside me
My favourite #SofaMoment is Friday nights. After the working week is done and we can both finally relax and cuddle up together and make plans for the weekend.
My daughter was born at home, so my absolute favourite sofa moment was a few minutes after her birth my other two children coming into the room to meet her, we all cuddled up on the sofa, was perfect.
#SofaMoment with my cat, a cup of tea and game of thrones. Cuddles with my cat are so heartwarming because she is a rescue cat that is scared of everyone else but me 😀
#SofaMoment that moment in the evening when all your programmes are on, you have a nice glass of wine and to top it off – the other half texts you to say he is going to be home late – BRILLIANT! PEACE 😉
My best #SofaMoment is snuggling up with hubby and the cat to watch a film 🙂 Bliss
BBC4 and chill…
My favourite #Sofamoment is cramming as many members of the family as possible onto the sofa, with snacks, drinks & a funny film to watch
#SofaMoment watching tv or a film with chocolate and ice cream
#SofaMoment My best sofa moment is weekend night when me and my little man snuggle on sofa watching disney movies and eating popcorn and munchies perfect time xx
My favourite #Sofamoment has always been those first moments after coming home from the hospital with a new born baby, sitting down and just staring at the bundle of joy, with 2nd and 3rd having the older child/children there too is just magical x
No better feeling than cuddling up to my hubby in the winter with a throw over us & a fab movie switched on
My #SofaMoment is the first time I moved into my flat with the sofa I purchased with my own money and sitting on it with my son asleep on me!!! I refuse to get rid of it! To many good memories with my sofa!!
My #sofamoment was about 2yr ago, i had been ill and spent alot of time in hospital and had a few operations, and due to 6-8wk recovery after the last one my 4 kids had to go to various carers through social work as i had no one to take them, anyway i had short assisted visits with them. then when they came home the 1st thing they done was sit infront of me as i was lying on the sofa and they all sung a short song about how much they missed me, thought i was going to die and how they were so happy to be home with me. they had put so much effort into making it up and singing together
My #sofamoment is always in December. When the room is dark and all you have is the twinkling of the Christmas tree lights, whilst snuggled under a blanket watching a classic film 🙂
