Review & giveaway | WOW Toys London range

We have long been fans of WOW toys, with Stanley Street Sweeper, Flip ‘n’ Tip Fred and Police Plane Pete being amongst the most played with toys in our house.

We were recently sent the new London range of toys, featuring London Bus Leo, London Taxi Ted and The Palace Guards.

London Bus Leo was an immediate hit, with Max and Eliza both taking a real shine to it. One of the best things about WOW toys is the fact that they have no batteries, but are simply powered by friction. This means that there are no bright lights, loud sounds or distracting songs, just the opportunity for real imaginative play.

Not only does London Bus Leo offer vehicle role play fun, it also doubles as a shape sorter, offering the opportunity to teach shapes and colours. There are 6 shapes inside the bus, which can be removed by opening the boot. They then slot into the corresponding holes on the roof. If you look carefully, there are also matching colours and shapes on the bus wheels, so children can extend their play that way too.

Taxi Ted is another friction powered vehicle, perfect for smaller hands, and has a push button feature which will open the roof.

The Palace Guards features Queen’s Guards, a horse and sentry box, and a beefeater. All the figures can be played with independently, or used with the vehicles. Because all the WOW toys figures are the same size, it is really easy to mix and match play.

All the WOW toys are perfect for motor skill development, role play and discovery, and suit such a wide age range, from teeny toddlers to school age kids.

I have teamed up with WOW toys to offer one very lucky reader the chance to win their own set of London Bus Leo, Taxi Ted and The Palace Guards. If you want to be in with a chance, simply enter below – good luck!

London Bus Leo! My children grew up with Wow Toys and I try to give them as presents as often as I can because they provide so much scope for little children’s imagination, plus are indestructible (a mean feat in this household) and don’t need batteries!
