Most of us know all about K’Nex and the amazing building sets that are available for older kids right through to adults. Well now, the youngest members of the family can join in the fun too, with the launch of the new Kid K’Nex range. We have been taking a closer look at the Budding Builders Tub and Zoomin’ Rides set.
The Budding Builders Tub includes 100 pieces of all shapes and sizes, along with a leaflet detailing 50 building ideas – although you can let your imagination lead too, and make your very own creations. Zoomin’ Rides contains 64 pieces, including wheels and and vehicle parts, allowing you to make cars, planes, trains etc.
The pieces are large and chunky, and perfect for small hands. They click together with very little effort, allowing for a lot of independent play. They are recommended for ages 3+ as some of the parts are smaller, although at 2 years old, Eliza finds these sets easy to use.
Having the building ideas leaflets is really helpful to get started, and Max enjoys using these as a starting point, adding his own ideas on top. There are such a wide range of pieces that you really can create almost anything!
