A visit from the tooth fairy

We got a wake up call at 6am this morning when Gemma came flying into our bedroom to shout in our ears ‘Mummy, Daddy my tooth has fallen out!’
This is the third tooth she has lost, and it has been wobbly for weeks now. Even getting a rugby ball in the face last week didn’t knock it out, but it seems a bit of wobbling in bed at 6am did the trick!

Would love to know what the going rate for the tooth fairy is in your house? I have asked a few friends, and it seems to vary from 50p – £2. So we have gone in the middle and Gemma has been getting £1 for a tooth.

Seems about the average. Did have one lady tell me they gave £5 for a tooth but this tooth fairy certainly doesnt have enough spare cash to be giving that amount!
