I was recently tagged by the lovely Chantelle over at Mama Mummy Mum – my challenge is to write and A-Z of me. I have to admit I thought ‘Easy peasy’…..it’s not!
A
Animals. I am animal mad and actually worked as a veterinary nurse before I had children. I loved it, but sadly nights and weekends on call don’t fit too well with young children!
B
Blogger. I am a blogger. I am fairly new to blogging, having only started about a year ago, but I am really enjoying it so far, and am looking forward to my first bloggers conference at Britmums 2014 next year.
C
Children. I have 3 lovely little children, and they are 7, 5 and 6 months.
D
Devon. Where I was born, and where we live. I have never lived anywhere other than my home town in Devon.
E
Easywalker – my current favourite pushchair. I have been sent it via the Pushchair Trader Living with scheme and we are testing it for 6 months. So far – I approve!
F
Friends. I have some amazing friends, who have always been there to support me no matter what. Friends are so important.
G
Gemma – my daughter.
H
Home – is where the heart is.
I
iPad. I recently got an iPad and have to admit to being slightly addicted to it already. I love it. It’s great for blogging, chatting, emails and Facebook!
J
Jacob. My oldest son.
K
Kevin – my husband of 7 years.
L
Laundry. Am I the only one who never ever seems to get on top of the laundry pile?!
M
Max. My youngest son, and the baby of the family.
N
New clothes. Ooooh I do love new clothes (not that I get them very often). The crisp smell of them, unwrapping them from their packages, how smooth and uncreased they are….you get the picture.
O
Octopus. We recently visited the aquarium and the children were fascinated with the octopus. I wasn’t quite so sure – have you ever SEEN an octopus up close? They are UGLY!
P
Pushchairs. I am Pushchair MAD. There is nothing more exciting than a new pushchair – I love everything about them, the wheels, the shiny-ness, the footmuffs, the seat going up and down… yeah, yeah I have a problem. My husband tells me so regularly.
Q
Quads. There were quads in the special care unit when I had Max. They were so unbelievably teeny – but how amazing!
R
Reading. I love to read, I am a real bookworm. I read anywhere – in bed, in the bath, in the car, you name it.
S
School. Where I worked up until I had Max. I actually worked as another ‘S’ – special needs teaching assistant. Very hard, very tiring but so rewarding.
T
Time. I am obsessed with not being late for anything ever. I am always the first one at the school gates at pick up time lol
U
University. Where I plan to go soon to study midwifery. My dream job, and I really hope I can get there one day.
V
Vampire – I am a big Twilight fan, and certainly wouldn’t mind meeting a vampire like Edward Cullen!
W
Work. My current work is with Nursery Trader as social media support and review team member. I am very lucky in that this position allows me to work from home – plus it’s great fun and I love it!
X
X-ray. I am qualified to perform xrays – as long as you are a cat or dog lol
Y
Yoga. I tried to love yoga, but it just wasn’t for me. I don’t think I am bendy enough…
Z
Zumba! This is MUCH more my sort of exercise. Social, full of fun dance moves AND good for you!
Gosh, that was much harder than I was anticipating! I am tagging 5 other bloggers to give it a go for themselves!
Jo at Outnumbered Mum
Debs at Super Busy Mum
Charlie at Life as Mumma Walker
Katie at Days with the Gray’s
Rebecca at Mum of a premature baby
these are always great fun to read!
Great post and good to know you better! Ooh, we tagged the same person 😉
lovely post – nice to read. Look forward to maybe bumping into you at Britmums Live 2014!
I can’t WAIT until Britmums! 🙂
Great to find out more about you. I did this recently, and it is tricky to do, isn’t it?!
It really is – thought it was going to be easy but it took me ages!
Lovely post 🙂
