I love to babywear, and have had Max in front, hip and back carrys since he was tiny. As well as being practical, leaving me with 2 hands free for the older 2 children, I can truly sing the praises of the kangaroo care effect – having had 3 babies through special care now, we practiced kangaroo care with all of them, and it definitely helped with the bonding process. To me, babywearing is just an extension of this.
Designed to hold your baby close straight from birth, the Kanga wrap baby carrier meets the kangaroo care criteria and was developed by midwives. Cool, lightweight and able to carry babies up to 15kg, the Kanga wrap is the perfect introduction to the world of babywearing. Profits from the sale of these wraps goes towards helping maternity care in Delhi slums – so it’s a winner all round in my eyes!
I have one of these beautiful Kanga wraps to give away to one very lucky reader. To enter, simply follow the instructions on the rafflecopter form below – good luck!
T&C’s – giveaway ends on 14th August, when winner will be selected from all correctly completed entries. Winner will be notified by email and must claim their prize within 10 days or it may be redrawn. The prize is provided directly from Kanga Wrap. Win competitions at ThePrizeFinder.com
I have never tried it before
I haven’t tried weaning yet.
I used a wrap, a mei tai and a full buckle carrier with my boy. It was great for hopping on and off the bus and train
I love being handsfree to hold the hands of my other children when we are out
I love babywearing i usually carry my son everywhere, it’s so quick and easy. i’ve not tried a stretchy wrap though 🙂
I don’t have any children but would love to win this prize for charity, to go to Romania.
Yes, we have a different type.
not tried yet
I haven’t but my sister swears by it
I love baby wearing because it’s one way to get a nice cuddle with a toddler who doesn’t sit still for anything these days! When she was smaller it was just so much easier for short journeys!

The closeness
I used a sling as that was available at the time however, this looks ideal as the smaller babies like the swaddle and closeness so it will be comfy for them.
Have not tried it yet but I would like to try it out with my son.
I never tried, but would love to try 🙂
I had a baby carrier and my Daughter loved being in it. It meant I could get on with housework and she would be content as she was with me! 🙂
I had a baby carrier with my not so little one. I had forgotten about it at first so didn’t use it much. I am now due baby#2 in a few weeks and will definitely be trying babywearing some more as I can see the benefits

I love how I can chat face to face with my daughter and go out without worrying about where to put the buggy when we go into shops or restaurants
Yes. I loved the closeness it gave and I had both hands free to do whatever I needed. Plus I could kiss her little head any time I wanted.
