Kiddylicious review and giveaway

Now I don’t know about you, but I am always on the look out for new and interesting snacks for the kids lunchboxes. I know I would be bored having the same things every day, so I do try and look out for different things when I am doing the shopping. I recently came across Kiddylicious on another blog, and we have been lucky enough to be sent a selection of the tasty, healthy snacks. Although they are primarily designed with growing toddlers in mind, I knew that the older 2 would be fans too.

Kiddylicious snacks

What did we get?

  • Wibble Wobble jelly pots (apple & blackcurrant and pear & strawberry). The pieces of fruit set in the jelly are small and soft, so they are perfect for little ones to eat. Gemma loved these in her packed lunch – they are the perfect size for a lunchtime snack or an after dinner treat.
  • Banana Crispie Tiddlers – puffed rice snacks, flavoured with real fruit puree. These were a huge hit with Max – they dissolve in the mouth, and he must have liked the taste as they didn’t last long at all!
  • Gingerbread Buddies – all 3 of my children love gingerbread, and so these were a real treat. They are a great size for little hands, and there are the perfect amount in the bag for a mid morning snack – Max likes them with a cup of milk.
  • Smoothie melts (banana, mango & passion fruit and strawberry & banana). These are almost sweet like in appearance, and so really appeal to children. They look like a smoothie, all whizzed up into a soft, jelly like snack. I loved the sound of these, but Gemma and Jacob weren’t keen. They said they didn’t like the texture, although Max and a friend shared them during a picnic at the park and they went down really well.

Kiddylicious snacks

I love that the snacks are providing 1 of their 5 a day – without them even noticing – every little bag has a whole portion of fruit or veg. The branding is clearly designed with toddlers in mind – it is fun and colourful, and makes the snacks something that kids want to grab. All in all, we approve, and the Kiddylicious range now features highly on our weekly shopping list.

What a lovely review and a beautiful blog- thank you so much for posting.

The Wibble Wobble Jelly Pots can be found in the baby aisle with the other snacks, there is also a peach in strawberry jelly flavour. We think they are great too…especially when little ones are learning to spoon feed.

Alternatively you can buy the snack bags- along with the rest of our snacking range at our online shop (shop.kiddylicious.com)
