Down by the river

This weekend we were all in need of a bit of fresh air, so we grabbed the nets and headed to the river to see what we could catch. There is something so peaceful about the water, the kids love every second of it, and we might all get wet, but everyone is smiling.

Such a great way to spend time outside. We’ve not done this yet as I thought Little Man was a bit young, but looking at Max’s delight there, I see I was wrong – will buy nets! x

Gorgeous photos! Reminds me of my childhood – we had a stream in our village and spent all our time wading, fishing for minnows, nicking each other’s wellies off the rope-swing over the river or exploring where the stream went. It’s the one feature I wish I had close by for the girls. Looks like you had a lot of fun. #countrykids
