Review: Pampers Active Fit nappies. #SagGoneGrooveOn

Finding the right nappies for your little one can be a real headache can’t it? We have tried several brands over the years, and the main issue is always sagging. Once the nappy gets a little bit damp, it just sags, making it uncomfortable for Eliza to wear and getting in the way of her movement. So when we were asked if we would like to try the new Pampers Active Fit nappies as part of the #SagGoneGrooveOn campaign, we jumped at the chance!

We were sent a demo kit, which included the Pampers Active Fit nappies and some kit for testing the new Magic Pods which keep the liquid away from baby and distributed evenly throughout the nappy to prevent sag.

As you can see from the video, the nappies soaked up 150ml of water really fast – within seconds the nappy felt dry to the touch. As soon as you cut the nappy open, you can see the Magic Pods, and you can see what they are doing – in simple terms they soak up the fluid and hold it in little pouches, spread across the nappy, to prevent it all pooling in one area of the nappy – this is what leads to the sag and nappies around knees!

Trying the nappies out on Eliza has reinforced my opinion that these are the ideal nappies for little wrigglers. Eliza celebrated by learning how to crawl whilst wearing a Pampers Active Fit nappy – and as you can see, they don’t restrict her movements in any way. Having freedom of movement at this age, and right through to toddlerhood, is really important – little people need to be concentrating on new skills and exploring the world around them, not worrying about an irritating nappy getting in the way of the fun!

We have been converted to these new Pampers Active Fit nappies, and they will definitely be on my shopping list next time we hit the supermarket. Not only do they allow unrestricted movement, they also keep Eliza’s bottom dry and soft – even overnight. Pampers certainly have everything covered, and we were all really impressed!
