Breakfast can be a bit of a difficult meal, especially in a busy household. On a school morning, I have 4 children to get fed, washed and dressed and out of the house for a nursery run by 8am. So sometimes, breakfast is a bit of a rushed affair, and having something that the kids can grab quickly is a real life saver.
Eliza’s breakfast usually consists of cereal and a banana, but even cereal can take a while – things like weetabix and shreddies need to soak in the milk for a bit until they are soft enough for her to eat and enjoy. So when I heard that HiPP Organic had introduced a new porridge pouch, I knew it would be ideal for us.
The new HiPP Organic porridge pouches are suitable for little ones aged 6 months+ and come in three tasty new flavours:
- Pear, Apple & Apricot Porridge
- Apple & Peach Porridge
- Fruity Porridge
To ensure the best taste for babies, HiPP select special varieties of fruits & vegetables which are naturally low in acid content & high in nutrients. To ensure optimum flavour they are given time to ripen naturally and harvested at their plumpest & sweetest. Sounds delicious, right?
We have tried all 3 flavours with Eliza, and there is no preference from her side – she LOVES them all! Every time we have tried them Eliza has scraped the bowl clean, and would have happily polished off more if there was any! The porridge is smooth, making it perfect for all babies from the first days of weaning right through to toddlerhood.
Find out more about the new products from HiPP Organic as well as the rest of the range on their website. The HiPP Organic porridge pouches will be available from 1st June in Tesco and 13th June in Waitrose.

Eliza definitely looked like she enjoyed it! It must be absolutely manic trying to sort breakfast in your house. These really do look fantastic though- I’m just starting to wean my baby boy and he’ll be able to have these pouches in a month or so, I think i’ll give them a go. The cereal looks perfect for my 2yo daughter too. Great review and have entered comp! xx #triedtested

These look so handy! I could have done with the porridge pouches when Mia was a baby (shes 3 now!) as she would have loved them and fed herself from around 5months old. She has always loved food so the cereals would also have been handy. Like you say, great for when your in a bit of a morning rush! 🙂

We love Hipp in this house! Those new cereals look so cute and Elarna has the same dino dungarees as Eliza, aren’t they so cute 🙂 At the moment Elarna loves eating pizza, she has the same taste as her big bro! Thanks for hosting #triedtested
I loved HiPP when I was weaning my little ones, and these porridge pounches seem to be filling a real gap in the market. Breakfast was always a challenge because my children would be so hungry that they could barely wait for the cereal to be made with hot milk / water and then cooled down. Nightmare at times! These pouches sound perfect!
Thanks for hosting this linky

These look great for little ones. Hipp was a trusted brand when my boys were tiny #triedtested

My little girl is a great eater and loves bolagnese definetly not a veggie like her mama!
These look great, I used to love the easiness of pouch meals when I ran out of time for something else. x
