I have long been a fan of Annabel Karmel, and have used her recipes when weaning all of my children. I plan to do the same with Eliza.
The thing I love most about Annabel Karmel is the fact that all her recipes are so accessible to the whole family – I can cook something such as her salmon with tomato and sweet potato, or her butternut squash risotto and it works for us all – the adults and 3 older kids will eat it as it is, and soon I will simply make the same meal and blend it for Eliza. No cooking lots of different meals for different people. I can serve up something tasty knowing that the children will enjoy it as well as knowing that they are getting a good hit of nutritious goodness.
There aren’t just savoury recipes in the New Complete Baby and Toddler Meal Planner either – there are some delicious sweet treats too. Since it was published in 1991, Annabel Karmel’s essential guide to feeding babies and young children has become a word-of-mouth classic. For 15 years this book has remained the number-one bestselling book on food for children and it is consistently in the Top 20 Hardback non-fiction titles in the UK – an amazing achievement.
Now for the very first time there is a brand-new, illustrated edition of the New Complete Baby and Toddler Meal Planner, and I have a copy to give away! All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is enter via the rafflecopter form below – good luck!
