John Lewis chrome uplighter – review

I am always on the lookout for items for the house – things that make our home look pretty, look a little bit different, and distract you from the huge heap of toys hidden by the sofa.

Which is why I was very pleased when I was offered the chance to try out a new table light from John Lewis. I always think good lighting is important, and can make or break a room.
I was very surprised when I opened the uplighter – it is so slimline and unobtrusive, and really could be used in any room of the house.
I decided to use the light on the shelf where we have some photos displayed as I thought it would accentuate the pictures.
We were very pleased with the results. The light itself is stylish and fits well with our ‘modern’ decoration, and it gives off a lovely amount of light – it would be perfect for a desk area where you needed a soft light to work by.
