Winnie the Pooh Stack & Pour toy – review

Max is now getting to the age where he is starting to become interested in toys, and things around him. So when we were sent a Winnie the Pooh Stack and Pour toy set, I was keen to see what he would think.

The set contains a shape sorter and a set of 3 pouring cups, which double as stacking cups. Great idea, as they can be used in or out of the bath.
Before Max had a chance to try them out, the toys were stolen by big brother Jacob – and even though he is now 5, he loved them!

He really enjoyed the pouring cups. Each cup has different sized holes in the bottom so you get a different water flow rate. Jacob spent a good 10 minutes playing with the cups – tipping water from one to the other before letting it pour out, and using them as boats for his Playmobil men.
He then moved onto the shape sorter – and again enjoyed the novelty of having a ‘proper’ toy in the bath. The lid is a bit tough to pull off, but this may loosen with more use.
Finally Max was allowed a turn, and as he is still a bit small to play, we helped him a bit, pouring water from the cups over his tummy as he lay in the bath. He loved it. Lots of giggles, lots of kicking and lots of splashing!
I think that as Max grows, this toy set will be used more and more. Once he learns to sit up, we can help him with stacking the cups and making a tower. Once he is able to play in the bath he can use the pouring cups with his brother. And shape sorters are always a great and popular toy, whether in or out of the bath.
I love how multi-functional these toys are, and the quality is good too. They are sturdy and well made, and the pictures are printed on rather than stickers – I hate it when stickers peel off toys and leave them looking scruffy after only a few uses.
A great quality, fun and practical toy that makes a perfect treat for the little one in your life.
