We met Santa

Yesterday, we took the children to see Santa at Otter Nurseries. This is somewhere that we go every year, as it is such an amazing Santa’s Grotto with so many extra fun features. This year was extra special, as it was Max’s first trip to see Santa.

We started with a fun rendition of the ‘Reindeer Hokey Cokey’ – we all popped on a pair of antlers, even Max, and joined in with gusto – think ‘put your antlers in, your right hoof out’ – bet you’re singing it now aren’t you?

Next, we headed off to meet the reindeer (Rudi and Judi) and then into the North Pole for some photos.

Next stop was the kitchen to make some extra magical reindeer food, so that the reindeer could find us on Christmas Eve. Ingredients included oats, sparkle, bran and a top secret magic ingredient that helps the reindeer to fly.
Then, finally, it was time to meet the man himself. Cue 2 very excited children, and an oblivious baby lol. We entered Santa’s room, and the children were beside themselves. After a lovely chat with Santa about what was on the Christmas lists, and what we were going to leave out for the reindeer to eat, Santa took Gemma, Jacob and Max over to the fireplace, where, with a bit of Christmas magic, 3 presents appeared down the chimney. A foil art kit for Gemma, a Lego set for Jacob and a soft baby book for Max.

A truly magical start to the Christmas season, and a wonderful first visit to Santa for baby Max.

Looks like you all had a lovely time. Can’t believe you got a good photo of the baby with Santa, both mine were terrified of him at that age 😉 #MagicMoments

That looks like such a fun weekend, and I’m impressed that no one was scared of Santa, Annie was up until this year so we don’t have any cute festive photos like these.

Thanks for linking up with Point + Shoot xx
