On first opening the bib, I was surprised by how soft and flexible it was. I find a lot of these types of bibs to be hard, stiff and quite frankly a real pain to pop on your child. The Cornish Daisy bib is made from cotton laminated with oilcloth, so it bends, flexes and feels much softer than many others I have tried. It even means it is possible to fold this bib in on itself to make a teeny little parcel perfect for the changing bag.
The beauty of this bib is in the fold down pocket. After a meal, undo the bottom poppers, fold the bib out flat and wipe it clean.
Max was happy to wear the bib too. He is quite accomplished at pulling off bibs, which can be rather messy, especially if it is in the middle of a meal. The poppers on the Cornish Daisy bib are tough and strong, and there are 3 sets to ensure a good fit for any size neck.
The real test of course comes with a meal. We tend to use a baby led weaning approach with Max, and as such he mainly eats with his hands – no matter what sort of food it may be. This is lovely and great for his motor skills – but also incredibly messy, and so any bib we use needs to be able to handle whatever he, quite literally, throws at it.
Shepherds Pie and sugar snap peas were not a problem. Anything Max dropped slid down the bib and into the pocket – and once he was done, we simply undid the poppers at the bottom, folded the bib out flat and wiped it clean. None of this digging around to fish out the remains of dinner.
The feeding bib even coped with a mini milk experiment – now that is saying something! Max’s clothes stayed clean and dry.
This is by far the best wipe clean feeding bib I have ever come across, and I will definitely be stocking up on a few more. At £9.99 I think they are fantastic value for money.

I absolutely love wipe clean bibs as they’re generally waterproof too. I also love poppers as they can’t be ripped off by a grumpy baby as easily! My fave would be the blue with white spots x
My favourite pattern is the daisy one but alas i dont think my little man would approve when her arrives although Nieve would 🙂
