December is a special month for me – it is the month that I started blogging, back in 2012. So much has happened since then, and blogging has changed my life in so many ways. To celebrate the last 2 years, and say thank you to you – the people who read and share my posts, I have been running a series of competitions. Today we have a truly amazing prize from The Little BIG Love Co.
I have raved about Amber Anklets many times now – they were a lifesaver when Max was teething, as well as helping to reduce his eczema, and he is never without his raw honey anklet. Everyone asks about it – a lot of people have heard of amber but don’t know if it works. I am always pleased to share our success story and point them in the direction of the Amber Anklets website – the more babies we can help the better!
Imagine my delight when I found out that the lovely lady behind Amber Anklets had branched out into natural oils to help with a range of niggles. We have tried out the amazing range.
Sleepy Bye Bye contains Lavender, Chamomile and Ylang Ylang to encourage natural, peaceful sleep. You can use it in the bath or rub a few drops onto your baby’s feet. It definitely helped Max to drop off quickly! Hurty Bye Bye contains Arnica to relieve the pain and discomfort of teething – run gently on to your childs cheeks and watch the magic happen. I have long believed in Arnica, so I just knew this would help before we even tried it. It would also be great for post C section recovery! My favourite oil is Hello Happy – Neroli, Geranium and Bergamont ooze happiness and relieve stress – this oil was all for me – it is amazing in a warm bath!
I have teamed up with The Little BIG Love Co to offer you a chance to win an eczema healing kit. This contains 2 rare dark green amber anklets, which we have used for controlling Max’s eczema for many months now. You will also receive a bottle of Hero Oil. I have raved about this before – Argan Oil has amazing healing powers, and has done for Max’s skin what countless moisturisers and steroids couldn’t do. It got rid of his eczema, within days.
To be in with a chance of winning this wonderful prize, simply enter via the rafflecopter form below – good luck!
Terms and conditions. Open to UK residents, competition will close on 23/12 and winner will be randomly selected from all correctly completed entries. Winner will be contacted by email and must claim their prize within 10 days or it may be redrawn. Prize sent directly from The Little BIG Love Co. Win competitions at ThePrizeFinder.com
E45 cream, or the cheaper alternative from the pharmacy works just as well.
Calendula infused oil is good but I’ve also found I have to rotate any treatments/ moisturizers in order for them to be effective
I make my son bathe in oats and dried camomile flowers
I have goats milk instead of cows milk and my skin is miles better
I get it really bad on my hands during the winter. I use vaseline and put a generous coating of it across the affected areas. Clears it up quickly. Everyone’s eczema is different though.
Keep skin moisturised & don’t use soap.
Use toiletries with natural ingredients
I use aqueous cream cream to wash with and moisturise my skin with pure aloe vera
all national fibres like cotton .. no made made materials.
not just for clothes, but bedding, towels and sofa throws.
this will help enormously.
Smother in aqueous cream before going in the bath and wash off instead of using soap then replay an hour or so after the bath.
Lots of moisturiser
Our whole family use E45!
Porridge oats into a tied up face cloth and dropped in the bath. The “slime” and milky substance that comes off it – dont rinse off. Cured both my kids within a week when they were bleeding and nothing the doctor gave them helped xx
I wish I had an easy answer! Keeping skin cool and well moisturised helps x
Myself and my son get eczema and moisturise all the time with E45 cream. We use emulsifying ointment in the bath and Oilatum soap. Soft cotton for clothes and bedding
Double rinse clothes and bedding in washing machine. Constant moisturising. No soap on delicate skin.
My husband suffers from Eczema on his arms & has found that coconut oil makes a big difference
Lots of cream
Udo’s oil
Instead of going to GP speak with health visitor or midwife and ask for appointment with skin doctor. that’s the only person who helped us and told us how to use creams properly.
