The PurFlo Breathable Nest is a multi-functional, air permeable and hypo-allergenic baby bed. Made from a combination of 100% soft cotton and an anti-bacterial 3D mesh, it offers a place for you to place to put your precious little bundle down to sleep safely.
PurFlo is the market leader in breathable baby nests. The materials have been specifically sourced for their air permeable and anti-bacterial properties. The bumper sides and the mesh base are certified not to restrict your baby’s airflow in any way, giving you complete peace of mind. The Amicor Pure filling in the sides is not only naturally breathable, but also anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and reduces the exposure to dust mites; all of which are known to aggravate infant allergies such as childhood asthma or eczema.
When Eliza moved from a bedside crib to a cot, she didn’t sleep that well – and I think it was because she was suddenly in a really big, open space. Compared to the cosiness of the enclosed cot, that must have felt strange! The Purflo Nest can be used as a crib insert, or when co-sleeping, as well as being useful for tummy time or as a portable snoozing space around the house or when travelling.
It features a removable and machine washable cover, and additional covers are available so you can have one on and one in the wash – very useful if you have a sicky baby, or find yourself dealing with the aftermath of a nappy explosion!
If you would like to win a Purflo Breathable Nest yourself, then enter my competition now – best of luck!

White noise is great for getting my newborn off to sleep, especially a Hoover sound!
Not yet as baby isn’t here until September but reading all these tips from expert mums has certainly boosted my confidence.
background noise seems to work
We continue as normal nothing worse then a quiet house or they’ll wake at every little sound
The bedtime routine is so important even for newborns, I bath and cream so relaxed and sleepy then feed in darkened room and lastly play a lullaby or sing (if all else fails haha) to signal that this is the long sleep and not a nap LOL
Just go with the flow, do not believe the sleep like a Baby saying and just relax xxxx
Learn to ‘read’ your baby so you know when it is time for sleep.
Background noise helps sleeping patterns.
White noise was a godsend with my first…I hope it works for our baby due in August
Feeding to sleep is ok, co sleeping is fine too, do what feels best for you
follow the routine
White noise worked for us too, as well as ‘shushing’
try and get into a routine
I think the best advice give your newborn a nice warm bath followed by their bottle of milk. Routine helps a baby to feel safe and warm.
Routine and lots of cuddles 🙂
This look great, at last a softer solution, same of these nests are so hard!
I dont have any tips as im not actually a mum yet, baby is due 26th September so reading all these comments have been wonderful 🙂 Thank you all x
Sleep when baby sleeps and don’t worry about housework etc
The only tip I have is, purchase a VTech Baby Starlight Sounds Hippo. That thing is magical.
Normal background noise that baby is used to hearing makes him feel safe!
