Post Christmas mayhem is the only way to describe this week really lol! There has been lots of rearranging toys/furniture/playrooms to accomodate all the new toys – its a bit like doing a massive 3D jigsaw puzzle but with funny shaped pieces! I think everything now has a new home (that is until the kids start moving it all around again!)
I do wonder why we spend so much money on our children at Christmas though – the thing the kids have enjoyed the most since Christmas has been the packaging – it fuels their imagination!
These boxes and polystyrene were made into rockets, pirate ships and racing cars and kept them occupied for hours!
So New Years Eve is upon us and with 2 children, a distinct lack of money post Christmas, and a 19 week baby bump, it will most definetley be a quiet one for us! Tonight we are ordering a pizza, opening a bottle of Pepsi and watching films in front of the fire – not very rock and roll, but total bliss!
We’re having a family night in too! Watching films and eating snacks we’ll probably all be asleep by midnight though! X
