Crosse & Blackwell 4Kids fruit jelly pots – review

I don’t know about you, but I sometimes struggle to pack tasty and interesting things in the childrens packed lunches. So when we were sent some Crosse & Blackwell 4Kids fruit pots to try out, we were over the moon – a fun new lunchbox idea!

The pots contain a portion of fruit in a flavoured jelly. My kids love jelly, and see it as a bit of a treat, so these were perfect for them. They work well as lunchbox fillers or an after-dinner pudding. They come in a wide range of flavours, and the children love the fact that they have their favourite Disney characters on the front. There was much fighting over Bullseye….
For some inexpicable reason, Gemma and Jacob are also fascinated with the teeny foldable spoons that come with each pot, and have insisted on keeping them all and using them for yogurts, cereal etc etc. I love the fact that each pot comes with its own spoon – less to remember to pack in the lunchboxes, and as they can be thrown away it means no sticky spoons at the end of the school day. That is if your children will throw the spoons away….
And the taste? The children loved them. Every single pot has been scraped clean.

I can’t actually comment on the taste myself as I was not allowed to try any. But the children certainly liked them, and I have strict orders to buy more when I go shopping.
