It’s a new year, and a new start. And one of the things I have been meaning to blog for ages is our ‘bucket list’ – put quite simply, this is a list of things we would like to achieve. This bucket list will see us through the winter, and I will start a new one when spring shows its face.
Not only will it serve as a place to go to when we are stuck for things to do, it will also please me greatly that I can tick things off a list as we accomplish them – I do very much like a good list.
So, without further ado – our New Year/Winter bucket list:
Take the children ice skating– ice skating 02/01- Winter/seasonal themed crafts
Bake a delicious birthday cake for Gemma– Gemma’s 8th birthday 22/01Take Max on his first trip to the soft play centre– Soft play 16/01Introduce the children to some of my favourite board games from when I was a child – Operation, Labyrinth and Monopoly– family board games 12/01Magic snow play– Magic snow 09/01Watch Gemma in her Brownies play– Gemma gets her Brownies badge 17/01- Go and support Jacob in his first football match
- Draw pictures in the frost
- Toast marshmallows on a fire
- Build a den in the living room

Wrap up warm and go for a winter walk in the park, then home to warm up with hot chocolate!– feeding the ducks in the park 12/01Put our house on the market– 08/01/2014
So there you have it. My plans and hopes for the very first part of 2014. All fairly achievable I think, and all things we will enjoy doing – some new experiences, some whole- family activities and a heap of fun to be had. I will keep you updated with what we manage!
I am linking up with the lovely Bucket list linky from Colette over at ‘We’re going on an adventure’ – why not join in too?
My son is 9 months now and I can’t wait to do the little things like play games and watch films together. I hope you achieve everything you’ve set out too xx
All the best with your bucket list. I hope you achieve all while having loads of fun with your family.
