With school runs, swimming lessons and football matches throughout the week, Eliza is used to snacking on the go. But we have learnt that some snacks are better than others for this purpose! Biscuits tend to get bashed to bits in the changing bag, anything chocolatey melts, and fruit sometimes gets bruised or squashed.
We were recently sent some GoGo squeeZ pouches to see if they could solve our dilemma. This new range of squeezable fruit and yogurt snacks have no artificial additives – just fruit puree and/or milk – and don’t need to be kept in the fridge – even the yogurt range! This is a real plus point for me, as Eliza loves a yogurt, but they aren’t suitable for taking out and about on a warm day!
The fruit pouches come in 3 flavours – apple, apple & strawberry and apple & mango. The yogurt pouches come in strawberry and banana flavour. They all come with helicopter caps, making them easy to twist open, and there is an inbuilt straw, eliminating the need for a spoon. It also makes it easy even for very small children to feed themselves – they simply pop the straw into their mouth, and suck. Eliza sometimes needs a little help towards the end, just to squeeze the last bit out.
Not only are the GoGo squeeZ pouches great for out and about, picnics and luncboxes, they are ideal for a treat at home too. Each pouch contains 1 of a child’s 5 a day, so they are a great option for a sweet snack, or an after dinner pudding. Eliza loves the yogurt pouches squeezed over fruit pieces, but they taste great on their own too!
The pouches are strong too, and don’t burst open, even when squeezed vigorously by a 2 year old! Suitable for freezing, you could also make these into healthy ice lollies in the summer months, or store in the fridge for teething tots. They are really handy to have in the cupboard, ready to grab as we head out of the door on the school run, and because Eliza can manage them herself it leaves my hands free for pushing the pushchair and carrying all the book bags and lunchboxes!
Not only suitable for toddlers, Max and Jacob have enjoyed these in their packed lunch boxes too – they make a really great alternative to a yogurt, which can’t be pleasant after sitting in a warm classroom for several hours.
Relatively mess free, easy to transport, suitable for all ages and a healthy option for snacks and meals, these GoGo squeeZ pouches are set to be a permanent feature in our kitchen cupboards.
Currently available from Tesco, priced between £2.55 – £2.95 for a pack of 4 pouches.
This looks great!
These look fabulous. Yogurt is a great snack and I like the idea that these don’t need to go in the fridge.

My kids love yoghurts, but as they normally need to be in the fridge I never take them out and about as snacks, problem now solved!

I am always careful with these type of things because a lot of them seems to contain a lot of sugar. But this one looks really good. She seems to be enjoying it. #triedtested

These look great and something my kids would love. I have one child who refuses to eat ‘fresh’ fruit, and the other who refuses to be fed! #TriedTested
